how and what is needed to schedule?

Please call us at 864-869-8821 or use the Scheduling Form found in the link below.  We will contact you at our earliest convenience to answer any questions you might have about pricing and scheduling.

Sessions are secured by full payment of your session or program fee.  You may pay by cash, check or credit card.  No appointment can be scheduled until payment is received.

when should we schedule a newborn session?

Please note that Susan leaves certain days in her weekly schedule open for new babies. If you are expecting and are wanting to book a newborn session, please call BEFORE your baby is born as these appointments fill quickly. For best results, newborn sessions should be scheduled when the baby is between 1 and 2 weeks old.  We will try and schedule your appointment for one week after your due date and then reschedule as needed once we know your baby's actual birthdate.  Please see our Newborn Sessions page at the link below for more information about this unique session.

what happens if it rains?

Susan mostly uses natural lighting for all of her portraits (indoor and outdoor).  While this creates beautiful portraits, it puts SBP at the mercy of the weather.  Your session may have to be rescheduled if conditions do not permit optimal portrait lighting.

what should we wear?

  • It is important to choose outfits that will not be a distraction in your portrait.  Busy patterns, stripes and any clothing with TV or movie characters can be a distraction from the focal point - the face(s) in the portrait.

  • Choose dresses on girls that will cover underwear/diapers when sitting.

  • Wear darker clothes for Fall and lighter clothes for Spring.

  • Susan prefers children without shoes.  This is because when a child sits, the bottom of the soles become a distraction in the portrait.

  • If you choose to wear shoes, remember to wear dark colored socks if you have on dark shoes.

Remember these are just recommendations from what we have seen in the past.  Please know that it is ultimately up to you as to what you and your family wear in the portrait.  Please use the Style Guide below for more assistance in planning for your session.

do you sell Digital Portraits?

Yes!  We sell Digital Portraits!

Our number one goal here is for you to have pictures to display, or ready for gifts.  Your lives are busy enough.  We want to do all of the work for you, so you can go home and hang your portrait on the wall, place an album on your coffee table, or wrap a birthday present for your Mom.  Susan has even been known to hang our client's pictures on the wall for them while they worked!

But if you also want to archive your portraits or just want the digital images, we have those options as well.  Please contact us for information about all of our pricing.

tell me more about your artwork...

When you purchase portraits from Studio Two Eleven, you are purchasing artwork created by Susan.  Although there are many photographers, we believe that Susan's art is uniquely hers.  She is creating for you not only an enjoyable experience at your session but heirloom portraits that will be passed down from generation to generation.  These are not snapshots but individual pieces of art - from the smallest wallet to the largest 40x60 wall portrait.  Therefore all portraits come hand-signed by the artist herself.

do you have a referral program?

Yes!  The biggest compliment you can give us is to tell your friends about Studio Two Eleven.  When you refer a friend and they schedule with us, you will receive a $50 print credit on your next session.  And they will as well!  A win-win for both of you.
