BBQ

Jonathan loves BBQ. When I used to tell others about him in the beginning of dating, I would describe what he likes to do and I would say, “He likes smoking meat.” I learned very soon to say that sentence quickly because people began to get concerned looks on their faces if I paused after smoking. haha

As I have said before, we are trying in all ways to save money, but also to make this party meaningful to us and to our guests. We are having it at our house - very meaningful to me. We are creating our invitations by hand - time consuming but saves money. We are catering the meal. Remember the peanut butter pie? It might make an appearance.

Jonathan has very kindly offered to smoke BBQ for all of us. I think he is excited about it too. Every year he stays up half the night to smoke his family a turkey for Thanksgiving. He loves smoking ribs and butts. He makes the sauces and works so hard for a delicious meal for those he loves. So one of our tables of food will be homemade BBQ and sauces with homemade coleslaw. We can’t wait for people to try it. It really is good BBQ.
